The Coast Guard’s Office of Commercial Vessel Compliance issued a marine inspection notice that announces a concentrated inspection campaign. The inspection campaign will be held from Sept. 1, 2014 through Nov. 30, 2014 and is designed to ensure that the firefighting equipment is readily available, training is adequate and to raise awareness of fire safety related issues.
