The Coast Guard’s Office of Design and Engineering Standards released policy letter number 02-14 that clarifies application of the requirements for odorizing units in the following three CFRs as implemented by the Final Rule published on Carbon Dioxide Fire Suppression Systems on Commercial Vessels .
