The Coast Guard published a notice in the Federal Register announcing a teleconference meeting for the Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee. The committee will meet to discuss Task Statement 80, concerning crew training requirements onboard vessels subject to the International Code of Safety for ships using gases or low flashpoint fuels.

The teleconference meeting will take place on June 10, 2014 and will be open to the public. Written comments must be submitted to the Alternate Designated Federal Officer on or before June 3, 2014. Members wishing to attend or register as a speaker must register no later than June 3, 2014.
