For your information, Wednesday, June 18, the Coast Guard’s deputy commandant for operations, Vice Adm. Charles D. Michel, will testify at a congressional hearing on Coast Guard readiness and the service’s acquisitions program.
Some of the issues to be discussed are: Capital Investment Plan, cost increases and schedule delays, unplanned capital needs and the performance of new assets.
