5/29/2015: Certificates of alternate compliance

The Coast Guard announces that the Coast Guard District Prevention Divisions have issued certificates of alternative compliance to vessels of special construction or purpose that cannot fully comply with the light, shape and sound signal provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 72 COLREGS, and/or Inland Navigation Rules without interfering with their special function.
