8/28/2015: National Maritime Center open house update

The National Maritime Center will be opening its doors to the public for an open house and information session on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST.

The morning will consist of seven, 20-minute information sessions with subject matter experts from the Coast Guard Headquarters policy division as well as NMC experts from medical, safety and suitability, professional qualification, and course evaluations. Guided tours of the facility will take participants through the entire credential production process.

The afternoon will consist of three breakout sessions in which mariners and industry can meet face to face and have discussions with our experienced credentialing staff from the Training and Assessments Division, the Medical Evaluation Division and the Mariner Evaluation Division.

There will also have a sign-up sheet available to reserve a time to meet with NMC staff on individual mariner cases.

Space is limited, so RSVP early to guarantee participation.
