The National Maritime Center posted a notice regarding an increase in merchant mariner credential and medical certificate applications being sent directly to the NMC.
The NMC would like to remind mariners that applications for merchant mariner credentials and medical certificates (CG-719B, CG-719K and CG-719K/E), including supporting documentation, must be submitted to a REC.
View the NMC notice for full details, to include reasons behind some of the confusion.
