The Coast Guard announced an upcoming meeting of the Towing Safety Advisory Committee to review and discuss recommendations from its subcommittees, as well as hear certain other briefs on selected topics.

The subcommittees will meet on Oct. 26, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The full Towing Safety Advisory Committee will meet on Oct. 27, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public, and will take place at the Department of Transportation headquarters in Washington, D.C.
