The U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Engineering community, a segment of the Commercial Regulations and Standards Directorate, just released their Fall 2016 newsletter focused on marine environmental protection. Specifically, the newsletter highlights some of the innovative engineering that is occurring in an effort to protect the environment and the challenges with developing regulations for these new technologies.
