The Coast Guard’s National Vessel Documentation Center posted a notice that due to a processing error, individuals may receive an additional Form CG-1280, Application for Renewal, for vessels expiring at the end of March 2017. Applicants already in receipt of a new Certificate of Documentation with an expiration date of March 31, 2018 may disregard the duplicate notice.
