The Coast Guard has a statutory requirement to publish new Great Lakes Pilotage rates by March 1st of each year. Today, the Office of Waterways Management announced that the 2016 GLP rates will remain in effect as they work to finalize the notice of proposed rulemaking that published Oct. 19, 2016.
