Dear Subscribers,
Happy Monday! Maritime Commons has been up and running for nearly three years. During that time, we’ve done our best to bring you all the Coast Guard information we thought would matter to you. We’ve posted NVICs, MSIBs, safety and security alerts, investigation results, and regulatory actions; we’ve blogged about emerging policy and trends, all in an effort to help you operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.
When the blog was only a few weeks old, we asked you, our readership, to help us identify content that was interesting to maritime industry, and we received valuable input. Today, we’d like to ask you once again how we’re doing to make sure we’re living up to the promises we made three years ago.
Please chime in, either using the ‘submit ideas’ tab on the right or in the comments section below, with your thoughts on what we’ve posted or what new content you’d like to see. Let us know how we can make the site more useable so Maritime Commons can continue to strive to be a one-stop-shop for your Coast Guard information needs.
I look forward to hearing from you and hope you have a wonderful week!
Warm regards,
Lt. Amy Midgett
Maritime Commons Editor
