The Coast Guard is cancelling the following Federal Advisory Act Committee meetings out of concern for committee members and public attendees who must travel from areas of the country affected by Hurricane Harvey and other impending hurricanes in the Atlantic:
• Merchant Mariner Medical Advisory Committee (MEDMAC) – September 12-13 in Seattle, Washington
• Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee (MERPAC) – September 14-15 in Seattle, Washington
Both meetings will be rescheduled as soon as possible. Future announcements of new dates will appear in the Federal Register and will be shared via Maritime Commons.
