8/22/2018: National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee meeting scheduled

The Coast Guard announced in the Federal Register that the National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee and its subcommittees will meet in Houston, Texas to discuss matters relating to the safety of operations and other matters affecting the offshore oil and gas industry. All meetings will be open to the public.

Dates/Times (All times Central):

• The Regulatory Reform Subcommittees will meet Monday, September 10, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and the Lessons Learned Subcommittee will meet from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• The full Committee will meet Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Please note that these meetings may close early if the committee has completed its business.

Comments and supporting documentation: To ensure your comments are received by Committee members before the meetings, submit your written comments no later than August 31, 2018.

All meetings will be held at United States Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston, 13411 Hillard Street, Houston, Texas 77034.

Pre-Registration Information: Foreign nationals participating will be required to pre-register no later than August 27, 2018, to be admitted to the meeting. To pre-register, contact Mr. Patrick W. Clark, (202) 372-1358, patrick.w.clark@uscg.mil and use “National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee” in the subject line. Provide your name, company, and telephone number; if a foreign national, also provide your country citizenship, passport country, country of residence, place of birth as well as your passport number and expiration date. All attendees will be required to provide a REAL-ID Act-compliant government-issued picture identification card in order to gain admittance to the building.
