The Committee on Marine Transportation System (CMTS) is hosting a working group webinar on COVID-19 Testing Strategies for U.S. Merchant Mariners.

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, 2:00-3:30 PM EST.  The event will include remarks from RADM Mark Buzby – Administrator, Maritime Administration and Mr. Mike Emerson – Director, Marine Transportation Systems, USCG.

Topics will include:

• Relevant background data regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic; workplace prevention and control strategies
  
• Types, availability, and reliability of COVID-19 testing for US Merchant Mariners
  
• CDC recommendations for US Merchant Mariners; and preventive measures for ship operators and mariners
