Coast Guard officer named among “Top 100 Women in Shipping”

In February, allaboutshipping.co.uk published a “Top 100 Women in Shipping” in recognition of International Maritime Organization’s World Maritime Day 2019 theme, “Empowering Women in the Maritime Community.” Among the respected, influential, and deserving women named on the Top 100 list was U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Eustacia “Staci” Weist from the Commercial Regulations and Standards Directorate at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Membership applications sought for National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee
The Coast Guard is requesting applications from individuals interested in membership on the National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee. This recently established committee will advise the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security on matters relating to the safe and secure marine transportation of hazardous materials.
