Rear Adm. John Nadeau, assistant commandant for prevention policy, represented the U.S. Coast Guard at the Posidonia international shipping conference in Athens, Greece earlier this month and participated in several panel discussions on topics relevant to the international maritime community. The Coast Guard announced in a Federal Register Notice that it will conduct an open public meeting in Washington, D.C., June 13, 2018, in preparation for the upcoming 68th session of the International Maritime Organization’s Technical Cooperation Committee Meeting and the 120th session of the IMO Council to be held at the IMO Headquarters in London.
