1/9/2019: Nat’l Maritime Center issues updated bulletin regarding lapse in appropriations and mariner credentials

In its updated bulletin, National Maritime Center adds Merchant Mariner Medical Certificates expiring in December 2018 or January 2019 to the list of mariner documents that will be extended through March 31, 2019, due to the lapse in appropriations.

2/6/2018: Direct submission of medical certificate applications to the NMC

Beginning Feb. 1, 2018, mariners may submit medical certificate only applications (CG-719K and CG-719KE forms) directly to the National Maritime Center. Regional Exam Centers will continue to accept medical certificate applications.
